Dr Clara Wu delivered an opening address and presented souvenirs. Dr Raymond Cheng presented souvenirs in the opening ceremony.

Dinner Symposium on Dermatologic Emergencies: Skin conditions that bring patients to Emergency Departments

The dinner symposium, sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim, was held on 4 June, 2024. Dr. Ho King Man gave a talk about ‘Dermatologic Emergencies: Skin Conditions that Bring Patients to Emergency Departments’. Over 50 members joined the dinner symposium and engaged in fruitful discussion.

MMMC 2024

HKSEMS hosted a track in MMMC 2024 which was held on 8 Jun 2024. The track theme was ‘Integrating prehospital medicine with telemedicine’. HKSEMS cooperated with its counterparts in intensive care and oncology. Dr Henry Wong and Dr Willis Kwok were the speakers for emergency medicine.

ICEM 2024

ICEM 2024 was held in Taipei from 19 June to 23 June. Dr Clara Wu received the Order of IFEM award. HKSEMS sent a team led by Dr Marcus Lo to participate in the EMS competition.

Induction Program on Emergency Medicine

The induction program was conducted on 17 July with over 60 participants. It aimed at providing essential information and orientation to the new A&E comers including electives and EM trainees.
